    A: Taxes and fees: taxes and fees on our business are too high or reach into too many aspects of our operations.

    Q: A scaled back version of taxpayer-funded college tuition was just signed into law and proponents may look to expand the program down the road. Do you feel that Rhode Island should offer "free" college tuition at any level?
    A: No - I disagree with the entire program.

    Q: If marijuana is eventually legalized in Rhode Island, would your business feel it necessary to institute drug-testing of employees?
    A: We already screen our employees for substances.

    Q: Alternative to mandated time off: if the General Assembly were to pass tax credit incentives for employers to offer paid time off to employees rather than an outright mandate, would this be an acceptable alternative to you? If yes, would you consider participating?
    A: The difference between an incentive and a mandate doesn't address our concerns.

    A: We would have to reduce employees' hours or compensation
